Free blogs are subject to changes with out notice so all your hard work might just go down the drain. Also, if you choose a free blog hosted by WordPress.com then you can’t monetize them either or they’ll take down your blog. Hosting is only about $10 a month and a domain name only costs about $10 a year to renew and/or buy the first year.
